Eagles’ rookie WR Dorial Green-Beckham is on the mend

Dorial Greene-Beckhart was the first player taken in the NFL Draft on Thursday, according to a report by The Associated Press.

Green-Beckho’s agent, Brad Mims, said he’s expected to be medically cleared to play in the upcoming season.

He was the fifth receiver selected in the first round.

GreenBeckham, a wide receiver from Georgia Tech, was expected to play as a true freshman for the first time this season.

But injuries and suspensions in the Eagles’ first two games derailed his progress, and he missed six games in 2016 with a knee injury.

In two seasons, he caught 44 passes for 571 yards and four touchdowns.

He has been a member of the Eagles since 2015, when he was the No. 1 overall pick.
